About Us

My name is Linda Gunnet the owner of CREN & Company. I have been interested in crafts and making things with my hands my entire life. While I have alwasy wanted a shop of my own due to the demands of life I was never able to own my own store until now. Please consider CREN & Company your internet gift shop that is always open. The first question I am asked about my craft is where did the name come from. As I stated above I have always done crafts. When the time came to decide on a name for my business, which at the time was making jewelry only, I knew it had to include my mother. Since my love of jewelry came from my mother it was only natural to include her in my new business venture. Her maiden name was Crenshaw and her nick name was Cren thus was born CREN and Company.

As craft trends change I was always interested in experimenting with new things. About 15 years ago I discovered decorative painting and have never looked back. While I still make jewelry, knit, sew, weave baskets etc. My true love is painting. I have been very fortunate to paint with many of the finest decorative painters in the business some who unfortunatly are no longer with us. My mother did not live to see me discover painting but she always encouraged me to be creative.

Thru my crafts I have meet many wonderful people many of them I consider my friends and many who I simply admire the beautiful work that they do. I hope you will enjoy what you see at CREN and Company and come back often. Please be sure to tell a friend.
